Private and Guided 3 Etna Wineries with Food & Wine

About This Experience
Three estates, ten wines, a sommelier at each, and nobody in the car but your own party. This is the tour to book when the wine is genuinely the point and you do not want to share a minibus to get to it.
An English-speaking driver-guide collects you from your hotel or the port and drives up through the villages on the volcano's flanks — orange and lemon orchards, olive and almond trees, houses and churches built out of lava stone. At each of the three family-run wineries you walk the vineyards with a sommelier and taste whites, rosés and reds alongside fresh local food.
Everything is in the price: food, drink and every fee at every estate. Tasting quantities are described as unlimited rather than measured pours, which in practice means the sommeliers keep going as long as the conversation does.
Six and a half to seven hours, entirely on your schedule. It costs several times a shared half-day, and for a group of four or more it stops looking extravagant fairly quickly.

Good to Know & Caveats
- Everything is included — food, wine and all estate fees — so there is nothing to settle on the day.
- Three tastings across seven hours is a lot of wine. Eat properly at the first stop.
- Because it is private, the pace and the pick-up time are yours to set with the guide.
- Cruise-port pick-up makes this workable as a shore excursion, but confirm your ship's all-aboard time against a seven-hour day.
Meeting Point
Pick-up from your accommodation or the cruise port, by private air-conditioned car or minivan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really private?
Yes — the car and the guide are yours alone, and the price is per group rather than a shared per-seat fare, which is why it looks expensive next to a minibus tour and often is not for four or more people.
Which three wineries do you visit?
Three family-run estates on the volcano's slopes, chosen by the operator and varied by season and availability rather than fixed. If a specific producer matters to you, ask before booking.
Ten wines is a lot — is food included?
A food tasting is served at every one of the three wineries, included in the price. The pours are described as unlimited, so pace yourself.
Can you collect us from a cruise ship?
Yes, port pick-up and drop-off is included. Check the six-and-a-half to seven hour duration against your all-aboard time before booking.
Do we walk in the vineyards or just taste?
Both. The itinerary includes walking the vines with a sommelier at each estate, which is the part shared tours usually cut for time.
Is there a driver, or do we drive?
There is a driver-guide throughout. Nobody in your party has to stay sober to get back down the mountain.
